We are Kansas!

So we are safe and sound in Kansas.
We like our new apartment and have been very tired.
I will post more when I have some pictures to put up.
It is slightly surreal that we are living somewhere else for good.
There is a lot to see and a lot of trees.
Good news too...
Our car insurance cost has cut in half b/c of the relocation.
I am going to go veg and watch some more HIMYMother.

OH! Here are a couple pictures of my new hair cut from today.

(Yes, I know, super attractive, Brian made me post it)

I will start out this post with a picture of how I feel (which is more than tired) and a clock I made. I was invited to cr-afternoon last Sunday in Ypsilanti but I couldn't go, so I made the craft on my own. I took an $8 clock from Ikea, took it apart, cut out fabric and embroidered the numbers on it. It is not really backwards, that is just what happens when you use photobooth.

It is surreal that I only have one day left at work. Last week a bunch of my work friends bought me lunch and a cake. It was nice but kind of sad.

Well, we packed until 5:30 am on Sat morning, slept for two hours and then went and got the moving truck. It was an exhausting, horrible day. We should of packed sooner. But it all fit in the truck! We were a little worried halfway in but even all our deck furniture and bikes fit with a lot of rearranging. I am exhausted and today we went and cleaned the house. It is tons cleaner than when we moved in so we better get our full deposit.

So, we are homeless until Wed.

We just ordered cottage inn with Brian's parents one last time and it was delicious.

Also, I finally got my pictures off my old computer, so I will leave you with a picture of the Czech Republic. It makes me want to travel.

Birthday and Packing...

HAPPY QUARTER OF A CENTURY BIRTHDAY, BRIAN!!!!!!!

The lucky guy gets to spend all day packing.
It hit me today that we have to be all the way packed BY tomorrow.
So stressed, it makes my head hurt.
Too much stuff, too little time.

In other news, we are moving to Kansas in D-minus 4 days and a bunch of hours.
AH!

Oh, one more thing...

Erin and Timmy introduced Brian to the show "How I met your mother." And it is awesome. I am in love with a tv show. It is funny, likeable, interesting and dare I say, loveable?! I once laughed so hard I both scared Potter and almost wet myself. Is that okay to say on here? Well, I just did.

That's all... Watch it....

Official!

Well my friends and foes...
It is more official than you would believe.
We are moving to Kansas City!!!!!!
Brian has a job,
he starts June 1st.
Acceptable salary.
Also, I put in my two weeks today.
DOUBLE YIKES!
Now, it is time for me to apply for a job.
I am nervous.
Super expensive moving truck is booked.
(Who knew those were so much money, yuck)

I feel like a weight has been lifted b/c Brian has a job and then I remember what a pain looking for job is. It is gross. I am trying to be excited about it and another plus it that my current job is starting the possibility of people working from home starting in a little over a month and they said there could be a possibility of me doing that, with better hours. We shall see...

This is my second to last night of working until midnight, can I hear a "what what!"

I am an unfortunate dork. Sorry. AND I just typed this whole post with no misspellings. The world is smiling on me today.
